Can I see Pro Tools region data with Audio Spy?
Yes. Pro Tools region chunks are visible as well as most other data that is stored by popular DAWs and recording software.

Can I delete unwanted chunks with Audio Spy?
No. Audio Spy does not edit files it only views the contents of audio files.

My DAW saves special data with each file. Can I see that data?
Yes. Most data saved by DAWs is visible within Audio Spy. If you have a chunk that is not recognized, please let us know about it here.

Can I make the audio louder with Audio Spy?
No. Audio Spy does process or edit the audio in files. It can play the audio and it allows you to view all of the meta-data chunks that are saved with the audio in your files.

Does Audio Spy open mp3 (.mp3) files?
No. Audio spy does not open mp3 files. It opens Wave, Broadcast Wave, and AIFF files. If you'd like future versions to open mp3, please let us know here.

Does Audio Spy open Apple caf (.caf) files?
No. Audio spy does not open Apple caf files. It opens Wave, Broadcast Wave, and AIFF files. If you'd like future versions to open caf files, please let us know here.

Does Audio Spy open Broadcast Wave files?
Yes. Audio Spy opens Wave, Broadcast Wave, and AIFF files.

Does Audio Spy open AIF-C files?
Yes. Audio Spy opens Wave, Broadcast Wave, and AIFF files, including compressed AIFF (AIFF-C) files.

Does Audio Spy open Wave64 (.w64) files?
No. Audio spy does not open Wave64 files. It opens Wave, Broadcast Wave, and AIFF files. If you'd like future versions to open Wave64, please let us know here.

Does Audio Spy run on Windows?
No. Audio Spy runs on Mac OS X versions 10.7 and higher.

Does Audio Spy run on Mac OS X 10.6?
No. Audio Spy runs on Mac OS X versions 10.7 and higher.

Will Audio Spy run on my Apple iPad?
No. Audio Spy does not run on Apple iOS. It runs on Mac OS X versions 10.7 and higher.

Can I change the attributes of my files?
No. Audio Spy does not edit files it only views the contents of audio files.

Can I record audio with Audio Spy?
No. Audio spy only opens files created by other applications.

I have information about an audio chunk type. Can I add that to Audio Spy?
